My name is Jacob J Smith. I use the “J” because there are probably a few thousand Jacob Smith’s. I am the new guy on the net and I’m hungry to find out what all the commotion is about. Everyday there is a constant stream of advertisements and enticements to learn how to use social media to my advantage, how to make money by pushing buttons, and how to work a genuine business in my underwear.

My personal motto is “perpetual personal progression” so I’m up for a challenge and always willing to learn more about the world around me. I have a propensity to serve others, that’s why I’ve worked my tail off getting an advanced degree, supporting a family of six, and working in the Governor’s office. I’m also an optimistic realist. Yeah, you may say that isn’t possible, but it is. I’m just pleasantly surprised quite often.

In a little over a month, I have learned all about facebook, twitter, bookmarking, video marketing, blogging, how to code in HTML, SEO, PPC, etc. and have been the student of many willing coaches.
